An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Willig in the 31st minute of play forced Algutsrum IF's goalkeeper Alvin Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvin Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Algutsrum IF got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Nordin. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Algutsrum IF's Alvin Björklund got control of the ball when Mats Arenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lars-Erik Ambjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Mats Arenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Alvin Björklund made a huge save. Alvin Björklund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arne Tunberg. Alvin Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Willig in the 65th minute of play. Kättilstorp FF's Stellan Alstedt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alvin Björklund but with some difficulty. In the 75th match minute, Algutsrum IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Ambjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Mats Arenius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alvin Björklund firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alvin Björklund acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arne Tunberg. Alvin Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Bäckman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alvin Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
