When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niclas Eriksson made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, André Browald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ndrangheta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mean Machine United the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Tingberg got free with Börje Hellström in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd match minute, Ndrangheta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrick Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Mean Machine United's goalkeeper Börje Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Tingberg. In the 94th minute, Elof Berggren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mean Machine United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
