After a defensive mix-up in Ekeby IFK's zone, Karl Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Liljeström came out of the goal and Karl Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverker Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Wilhelm Liljeström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Liljeström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Alström in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Jönsson in the 14th minute of play forced Ekeby IFK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Liljeström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Karl Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 played minutes Ekeby IFK got a freekick which was hit by Stig Duset. Wilhelm Liljeström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Svensson in the 18th minute of the match. Karl Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilhelm Liljeström having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Ekeby IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Svensson came free, but Wilhelm Liljeström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Liljeström having to interfere. The wind increased when Henric Bogren made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ekeby IFK's Wilhelm Liljeström got control of the ball when Sverker Alström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustav Almstedt hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Karl Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Svensson's late challenge caught a Ekeby IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. If Karl Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, FC Vittangi's Joseph Jönsätt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilhelm Liljeström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 86 minutes into the match, Ekeby IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Svensson came free, but Wilhelm Liljeström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
