Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Stenkvist started the match with the kick off. Konrad Walmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Tinglöf in the 4th minute of play. After 4 played minutes Topptrim FC got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Duset. When Torsten Duset fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Topptrim FC's protests and gave Torsten Duset a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Topptrim FC got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Duset. Olof Göransson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Örjan Pettersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patric Haglund having to make a save. After having played for 17 minutes, Örjan Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Topptrim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Newtons första lag's zone, Ivan Stenkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Haglund came out of the goal and Ivan Stenkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Georg Tinglöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Topptrim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Valrot to maneuver through the defense. When Georg Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Newtons första lag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Hellström couldn't finish the play. Georg Hellström didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 32nd minute. Newtons första lag's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After having played for 37 minutes, Örjan Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Topptrim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 43rd minute of the match Torsten Duset completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Torsten Duset a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Torsten Duset hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Hellström got free with Konrad Walmarsson in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Tinglöf made a kick off. Patric Haglund was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Örjan Pettersson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Örjan Pettersson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Örjan Pettersson struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Patric Haglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topptrim FC. Ivan Stenkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Haglund having to interfere. Andreas Österlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patric Haglund having to make a save. Valdemar Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Newtons första lag's Patric Haglund got control of the ball when Andreas Österlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fritz Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patric Haglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patric Haglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Pettersson in the 79th minute of the match. If Ivan Stenkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Örjan Pettersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Haglund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Topptrim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Tinglöf came free, but Konrad Walmarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Andreas Österlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patric Haglund, 1-4. Konrad Walmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Tinglöf in the 93rd minute of play. Patric Haglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Stenkvist's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Topptrim FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Newtons första lag.
