Gustaf Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Algren in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Newlajden IF booed when BK STOLPSKOTT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Fernkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Newlajden IF's Jan-Ove Vennerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Newlajden IF from getting a goal against them. Charles Dalgren hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Georg Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, BK STOLPSKOTT's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Lindholm came free, but Gustaf Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gustaf Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK STOLPSKOTT's goalkeeper Gustaf Henriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl Hagström kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jan-Ove Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Karl-Oskar Nordlander sent off a good shot on target. If Arne Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arne Snäll made the kick off in the second half. Arne Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Vennerström having to interfere. Patrik Eklund hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Arne Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK STOLPSKOTT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Snäll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Snäll struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jan-Ove Vennerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK STOLPSKOTT. Georg Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gustaf Henriksson made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Arne Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK STOLPSKOTT's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Snäll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Wallin during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Ove Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Snäll, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jan-Ove Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Nordlander in the 75th minute of the match. Gustaf Henriksson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hugo Sefastsson. After 79 played minutes Newlajden IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Josefsson. After recieving a nice pass, BK STOLPSKOTT's Matthias Berg tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karl Hagström hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Karl Hagström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Lindholm in the 88th minute. Arne Snäll might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Ove Vennerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arne Snäll ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
