Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Roger Wallin made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Sjötorp FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Wallin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 8th match minute, Sjötorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Rudkvist to maneuver through the defense. Roger Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Patric Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Wallin in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patric Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Roger Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Leif Morat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjötorp FK and the Polhems Juniorer players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sjötorp FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leif Morat hit a great ball. Einar Ryberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Roger Wallin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Patric Larsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Bengtsson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Sjötorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Patric Larsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Polhems Juniorer's zone, Ernst Moberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Lind came out of the goal and Ernst Moberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ernst Moberg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Sjötorp FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Moberg couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Kennet Hansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Ernst Moberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sjötorp FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ernst Moberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Holger Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ernst Moberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polhems Juniorer's Holger Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Polhems Juniorer's zone, Ernst Moberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Lind came out of the goal and Ernst Moberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernst Moberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kennet Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kennet Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Wallin in the 59th minute of play forced Sjötorp FK's goalkeeper Patric Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sjötorp FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Leif Morat hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Hansson got free with Holger Lind in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Patric Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nils Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nils Jonasson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polhems Juniorer's protests and gave Nils Jonasson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Ernst Moberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Holger Lind, passed just outside the right post. Polhems Juniorer's Holger Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Moberg in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Roger Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polhems Juniorer's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Larsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Polhems Juniorer booed when Sjötorp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Eric Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kennet Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Holger Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Ernst Moberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Polhems Juniorer's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Moberg came free, but Holger Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ernst Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Moberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Lind having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Sjötorp FK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
