If Ernst Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 28 minutes, Sakarias Arvidsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taberg FK and the Sjötorp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Taberg FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Taberg FK:s Edvard Wallengren showed great skill when he stopped Elliott Lindberg:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Stigsson during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Taberg FK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hans Stigsson hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Taberg FK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Stigsson. 34 minutes into the match, Sjötorp FK's Elliott Lindberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ernst Moberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvard Wallengren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Kennet Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sjötorp FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kennet Hansson couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bertil Biörnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Gert Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Larsson having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Eric Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Biörnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sjötorp FK's Patric Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Biörnberg in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Taberg FK's zone, Ernst Moberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Wallengren came out of the goal and Ernst Moberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvard Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Moberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Ernst Moberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patric Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Sefastsson in the 78th minute of the match. Sjötorp FK's Patric Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Biörnberg in the 81st minute of play. After 86 played minutes Taberg FK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Stigsson. 87 minutes into the match, Taberg FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Moberg came free, but Edvard Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
