Zebastian Biörk took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Skröder. Richard Skröder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Richard Skröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Biörk, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Leamington Brakes's Göran Flinck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Olofsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leamington Brakes's Richard Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Biörk in the 39th minute of play. Richard Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Melberg in the 41st minute of play.

If Göran Flinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Ekerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fredrik Olofsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Indal's Fredrik Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Flinck in the 64th minute of play. Tommy Ekegren's late challenge caught a Indal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Ekegren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leamington Brakes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tommy Ekegren hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Gösta Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Melberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, Leamington Brakes failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
