With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Lenberg in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickard Elg saved NYKÖPING SUNLIGHT from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, Skurup BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Trillkott to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Eddie Lenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rickard Elg was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 26th minute of the match Henry Trillkott sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Elg skillfully saved the ball. Skurup BK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Bodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Elg having to interfere. Rickard Elg made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Eddie Lenberg sent off a good shot on target. Skurup BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
