The referee gave Granet BK a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manfred Hedkvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of NYKÖPING SUNLIGHT's Rickard Elg. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in NYKÖPING SUNLIGHT's zone, Kim Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Elg came out of the goal and Kim Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
