Rickard Asserlindh guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eddie Lenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Asserlindh having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Christian Bodin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th match minute, Skurup BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Bodin to maneuver through the defense. Per-Arne Biörk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Granet BK's Rickard Asserlindh got control of the ball when Eddie Lenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Henry Trillkott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skurup BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granet BK the free kick. In the 36th minute Kim Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Biörk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Sven-Olof Billström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skurup BK and the Granet BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Granet BK booed when Skurup BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Christian Bodin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erling Gustafsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torgny Bergdal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rickard Asserlindh. Granet BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eddie Lenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Asserlindh having to interfere. Henry Trillkott took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rickard Asserlindh. Granet BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Torgny Bergdal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Asserlindh skillfully saved the ball. If Eddie Lenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Bodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rickard Asserlindh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Skurup BK's Eddie Lenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Asserlindh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rickard Asserlindh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Bodin in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Lenberg in the 79th minute of play forced Granet BK's goalkeeper Rickard Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erling Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Christian Bodin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Granet BK's Rickard Asserlindh. Rickard Asserlindh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
