Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Zenit United FC's Jakob Östlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rickard Asserlindh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Östlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Zenit United FC's Sverker Helberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Granet BK's Manfred Hedkvist tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Axel Hellström hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Granet BK's Kim Bergqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Erling Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens-Erik Salqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erling Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Granet BK's Kim Bergqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Erik Salqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th minute, one of Granet BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Granet BK. Eric Julin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jens-Erik Salqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Granet BK's zone, Sverker Helberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Asserlindh came out of the goal and Sverker Helberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Erling Gustafsson made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Jakob Östlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Asserlindh. Granet BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Östlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Erling Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jens-Erik Salqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Zenit United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. Erling Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragnar Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Salqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Bergqvist in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes Zenit United FC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Hellström. After 72 played minutes, Granet BK's Manfred Hedkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Erik Salqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Granet BK reached it. Erling Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Erling Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Salqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Gustafsson in the 84th minute of play forced Zenit United FC's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Salqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zenit United FC's Sven-Erik Kollberg got a free kick in the 84th minute. Kim Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Salqvist was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Kim Bergqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kim Bergqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Östlund in the 92nd minute of play forced Granet BK's goalkeeper Rickard Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granet BK's Rickard Asserlindh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Löfkvist in the 94th minute of play. Granet BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
