Christopher Lundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigvard Bergvall in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Frövi's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Ambjörnsson came free, but Christopher Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Bergvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Lundström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sigvard Bergvall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christopher Lundström was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, Andréas Apelkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilshult's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frövi the free kick.
