After having played for 8 minutes, Patrik Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunds Grillros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Robert Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Holmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Nyström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Holmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Svensson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Slottsbron FK's Bernt Arvidsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Lidström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Slottsbron FK's Martin Svensson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the match, Lunds Grillros FC's Paul Bäckman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Slottsbron FK's Mattias Nyström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Slottsbron FK from getting a goal against them. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mats Bergdal made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Vase hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Paul Bäckman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Nyström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patrik Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Bergdal in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Lidström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the game, Ove Runeberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunds Grillros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slottsbron FK the free kick. Ove Runeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mats Bergdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bernt Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Slottsbron FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. Mats Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lunds Grillros FC's Paul Bäckman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mattias Nyström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lunds Grillros FC had won after a very even match.
