In the 6th minute, Gottfrid Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Frövi's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Holmgren came free, but Christopher Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Blomqvist got free with Ivar Lidström in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Lunds Grillros FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Nordström. Sivert Zachrisson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Frövi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Blomqvist got free with Ivar Lidström in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Lidström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Zachrisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Blomqvist in the 20th minute of play forced Lunds Grillros FC's goalkeeper Ivar Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Lundström having to interfere. Frövi's Christopher Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Carlsson in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Frövi's Ralf Wennerquist got a free kick in the 26th minute. Stig-Arne Lövgren kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Patrik Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Lunds Grillros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Ivar Lidström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sivert Zachrisson went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Patrik Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Christopher Lundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunds Grillros FC.

The wind increased when Sivert Zachrisson made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ove Runeberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christopher Lundström, 1-1. After 58 played minutes Lunds Grillros FC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Åkerström. Patrik Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Lundström having to interfere. A collision led to Frövi getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Gullesson hit a great ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frövi's goalkeeper Christopher Lundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrik Carlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Christopher Lundström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrik Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Christopher Lundström made a huge save. Ivar Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Christopher Lundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Carlsson in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Stig-Arne Stenkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
