The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kenny Jonsson's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bengt-Arne Salqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Arne Salqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Blomberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Kenny Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steffs Boys Bois's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Sundén's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Martin Söderström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 17 played minutes Storfors got a freekick which was hit by Ted Wik. Storfors's Martin Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Jonsson in the 20th minute of play. Klas Ekelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Philip Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Jonsson in the 30th minute of the match. Kenny Jonsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffs Boys Bois's Kenny Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Sundén got free with Martin Söderström in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Philip Blomberg came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Storfors's Klas Ekelund. But to his dismay, Klas Ekelund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ted Wik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Wilhelm Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilhelm Sundén scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Söderström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Ekelund got free with Philip Blomberg in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Steffs Boys Bois booed when Storfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Wahlnäs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Sven-Åke Blomkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klas Ekelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Philip Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bengt-Arne Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Steffs Boys Bois got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Blomkvist. Steffs Boys Bois's Philip Blomberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Steffs Boys Bois from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenny Jonsson in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Söderström saved Storfors from getting behind. Martin Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Jonsson in the 84th minute of the match. Martin Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
