Spectators: 6994 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Vase started the match with the kick off. Pontus Bergsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Marcus Falck made a huge save. 5 minutes into the match, Hällestad's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vase came free, but Sven Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffanstorp FC's Marcus Falck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Staffanstorp FC from getting a goal against them. Joakim Lägdin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Hällestad's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pontus Bergsten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Falck having to make a save. After having played for 15 minutes, Pontus Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Anselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor Sjöö during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tor Sjöö kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sven Hellström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Anselius went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hällestad's Pontus Bergsten got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Pontus Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Hellström came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Staffanstorp FC's Nils-Erik Bengtsson. But to his dismay, Nils-Erik Bengtsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nils-Erik Bengtsson scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nils-Erik Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sven Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Pontus Bergsten made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Sjöö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tor Sjöö in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Falck saved Staffanstorp FC from getting behind. Joakim Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcus Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Persson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nils-Erik Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sven Hellström made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Nils-Erik Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Staffanstorp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Sven Hellström made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Nils-Erik Bengtsson sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pontus Bergsten in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Falck saved Staffanstorp FC from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Staffanstorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Bergsten came free, but Marcus Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffanstorp FC's Marcus Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Bergsten in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Hällestad's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vase came free, but Sven Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pontus Bergsten in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Falck saved Staffanstorp FC from getting behind. Tor Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Tobias Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staffanstorp FC's Nils-Erik Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Vase in the 89th minute of play forced Hällestad's goalkeeper Sven Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Hällestad's goalkeeper Sven Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Erik Bengtsson. With a little luck, Hällestad's Sven Hellström got control of the ball when Nils-Erik Bengtsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Emanuel Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Staffanstorp FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
