In the 10th minute Lars Löfdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Stenqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Löfdahl in the 13th minute of play. The Peking Animals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Löfdahl couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Pauliström IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Henriksson came free, but Esbjörn Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pauliström IK's Robert Odin got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Jonathan Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Västerstrand to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 66 minutes, Tor Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peking Animals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pauliström IK's goalkeeper Esbjörn Björklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Pauliström IK's Esbjörn Björklund got control of the ball when Tor Henriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esbjörn Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Kullander in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Tor Henriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esbjörn Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Kullander in the 76th minute of play forced Pauliström IK's goalkeeper Esbjörn Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peking Animals were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Pauliström IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Pil took the corner. After taking down the ball on Peking Animals's corner Jonathan Pil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esbjörn Björklund quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute Kenny Kullander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pauliström IK's Esbjörn Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Kullander in the 97th minute of play. Peking Animals's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
