Fc Arlöv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertzöga FK the free kick. A collision led to Fc Arlöv getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Evert Hammarberg hit a great ball. Eric Bergman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Frank Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Valdemar Tomasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Svanberg in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Tomasson saved Hertzöga FK from getting behind. Fc Arlöv's Frank Åkesson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gösta Svanberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Valdemar Tomasson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gösta Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Henry Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Svanbergs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Valdemar Tomasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emil Persson's late challenge caught a Hertzöga FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Persson helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Persson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Gösta Svanberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Tomasson was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Valdemar Tomasson was a little too slow when Gösta Svanberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Fc Arlöv booed when Hertzöga FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Svanberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Valdemar Tomasson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fc Arlöv's Henry Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play Hertzöga FK's Erland Nyqvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gösta Svanberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Tomasson having to interfere. Gösta Svanberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Valdemar Tomasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Lindholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Bengt-Rune Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gösta Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hertzöga FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bror Bergsten hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Svanberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Hertzöga FK's goalkeeper Valdemar Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Hertzöga FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Svanberg came free, but Valdemar Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Tomasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Svanberg went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Gösta Svanberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertzöga FK's goalkeeper Valdemar Tomasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match Fc Arlöv got a corner. Hertzöga FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustav Löfgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fc Arlöv's Gustav Löfgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdemar Tomasson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc Arlöv had played much better football throughout.
