Elof Hägg charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elof Hägg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Boberg in the 16th minute of play forced Hertzöga FK's goalkeeper Valdemar Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilgot Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Tomasson having to interfere. Elof Hägg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Valdemar Tomasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Hertzöga FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Nyqvist to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Vilgot Boberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nödinge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilgot Boberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Tomasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leif Kilberg made a kick off. A collision led to Hertzöga FK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Emil Willig hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Nödinge FC's Elof Hägg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilgot Boberg got free with Valdemar Tomasson in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Thor Kristiansson suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmie Snell during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hertzöga FK booed when Nödinge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Snell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stellan Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Uggla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
