Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) When Krister Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Örsjö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Sandström couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andréas Stenström in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Kullander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Andréas Stenström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Kullander was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Gunnar Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Ödmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gunnar Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Örsjö FF's zone, Åke Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Ödmann came out of the goal and Åke Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Åke Johnsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Åke Ödmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Grimstorp BK's Björn Mikaelsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Krister Sandström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Kullander having to make a save. If Gunnar Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Ödmann having to interfere. Krister Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Kullander having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Söderberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Andréas Stenström rounded Grimstorp BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Bror Kleen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Robin Kullander made a huge save. In the 67th minute Andréas Stenström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Kullander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leif Sjödin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örsjö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Sjödin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Grimstorp BK's Björn Mikaelsson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bengt-Rune Lundhberg, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alex Hernström hit a great ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Krister Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Örsjö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Sandström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Björn Mikaelsson's late challenge caught a Örsjö FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Mikaelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Björn Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Andréas Stenström arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Björn Mikaelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimstorp BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Mikaelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Ödmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 99 minutes into the match, Örsjö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Söderberg came free, but Åke Ödmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Örsjö FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grimstorp BK throughout the match.
