Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Henry Bruse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Husby-Rekarne IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stigtomta IF the free kick. Stigtomta IF's Jack Helberg pulled a muscle in his back after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Henry Bruse was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. In the 11th match minute, Husby-Rekarne IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Bruse to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Stigtomta IF booed when Husby-Rekarne IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Benjamin Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stigtomta IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Cane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Folke Hansson made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Nordmark. Husby-Rekarne IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sverker Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tord Hasselqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Victor Nyström made a huge save. Folke Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Nordmark having to interfere. Folke Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sverker Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Tord Hasselqvist made the kick off in the second half. Jesper Kleen's late challenge caught a Husby-Rekarne IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesper Kleen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Husby-Rekarne IFK booed when Stigtomta IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Kleen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Husby-Rekarne IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Hansson came free, but Sverker Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Nordmark was a little too slow when Benjamin Cane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. After having played for 63 minutes, Benjamin Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stigtomta IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Husby-Rekarne IFK's zone, Benjamin Cane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Nordmark came out of the goal and Benjamin Cane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils-Erik Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sverker Nordmark made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Benjamin Cane sent off a good shot on target. Victor Nyström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Tord Hasselqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Husby-Rekarne IFK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Hjelm. Victor Nyström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Erik Hjelm went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
