In the 22nd minute of the match Örsjö FF got a corner. Stigtomta IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt-Rune Lundhberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Örsjö FF's Gustav Norström to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Nyström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Stigtomta IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Helberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Örsjö FF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leif Sjödin hit a great ball. Stigtomta IF's Victor Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Stenström in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Stigtomta IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 36 minutes into the match, Örsjö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Hansson came free, but Åke Ödmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Örsjö FF's zone, Benjamin Cane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Ödmann came out of the goal and Benjamin Cane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Örsjö FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stigtomta IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
