Spectators: 6806 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Cane started the match with the kick off. Jack Helberg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Håkan Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimstorp BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Andersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stigtomta IF's Victor Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Söderberg in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Jack Helberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claes Hägert hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Grimstorp BK's Alex Hernström got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Folke Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stigtomta IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Claes Hägert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stigtomta IF and the Grimstorp BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grimstorp BK booed when Stigtomta IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Hägert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Folke Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Nyström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Håkan Andersson. Robin Kullander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Folke Hansson went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Folke Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Söderberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Stigtomta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Johnsson came free, but Victor Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Grimstorp BK got a freekick which was hit by Marko Falkrans. If Benjamin Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Folke Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Kullander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Folke Hansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robin Kullander, 2-3. Victor Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Söderberg in the 95th minute of play. Stigtomta IF played a much better game than Grimstorp BK and deserved their victory. The Grimstorp BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
