Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torbjörn Norberg started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Albert Gregersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johannes Högberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Jan-Olof Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Oxelösund IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Nordlander came free, but Eric Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Norberg in the 11th minute of play forced Romakloster's goalkeeper Johannes Högberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kjell Dalberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oxelösund IF's Vilhelm Nordlander got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sven Säf's late challenge caught a Oxelösund IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Säf helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Romakloster got a freekick which was hit by Sven Säf. Arman Friberger hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes Högberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gregersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Romakloster's zone, Albert Gregersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Högberg came out of the goal and Albert Gregersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Kjell Dalberg made a precise shot to the right of Eric Gunnarsson. Oxelösund IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edwin Nordlander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute Edwin Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Högberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Norberg in the 64th minute of play. Eric Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Nordlander, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mårten Brandin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Kjell Dalberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Torbjörn Norberg struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Johannes Högberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oxelösund IF. Torbjörn Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Johannes Högberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Högberg having to interfere. Romakloster's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
