Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5477, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) 4 minutes into the game, Alex Hamberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slagnäs FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Werner CF the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Slagnäs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Hamberg to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes, Real Werner CF's Valentin Håkansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Morat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Werner CF reached it. If Tor Kullgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Finsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilgot Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melker Finsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the game, Slagnäs FF's Melker Finsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilgot Nordström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tor Kullgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sven Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Melker Finsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Werner CF's Calle Billing got a free kick in the 29th minute. Melker Finsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilgot Nordström having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Staffan Arenstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slagnäs FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Staffan Arenstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilgot Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 40 minutes, Melker Finsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slagnäs FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melker Finsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor Kullgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melker Finsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Staffan Arenstedt got free with Vilgot Nordström in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Werner CF's Vilgot Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Finsberg in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Slagnäs FF booed when Real Werner CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Ålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Kullgren struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sven Morat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Werner CF. Viktor Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sven Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Finsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Real Werner CF's Calle Billing got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Melker Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vilgot Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sven Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Werner CF's Vilgot Nordström got control of the ball when Staffan Arenstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Melker Finsberg came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Slagnäs FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Finsberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Finsberg in the 85th minute of play forced Real Werner CF's goalkeeper Vilgot Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jens-Åke Fågel fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Werner CF's protests and gave Jens-Åke Fågel a yellow card for diving instead. 95 minutes into the game, one of Real Werner CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sven-Erik Dahlbom placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Slagnäs FF played a much better game than Real Werner CF and deserved their victory. The Real Werner CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
