Nusnäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Karl-Ove Thorsberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Fernström was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Hökkvist made a kick off. Holger Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Browall having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Lundgren got free with Yngve Fernström in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Djurkamelerna's Yngve Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Thorsberg in the 81st minute of play. Martin Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Yngve Fernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Lundgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Fernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Lundgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Yngve Fernström made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
