Västerhaninge IF's Leif Carlsson suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sebastian Ekrot charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Ekrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Västerhaninge IF booed when Prässebo FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melker Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Åkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Linus Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melker Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Bredberg in the 15th minute of the match. Västerhaninge IF's Tony Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prässebo FK's Melker Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Åkerman in the 20th minute of play. Melker Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Melberg in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Hybbert during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melker Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Åkerman in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Prässebo FK's Bengt-Rune Hybbert got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Sven-Erik Albohm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerhaninge IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Albohm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melker Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melker Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Erik Albohm's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Tony Hellsing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Melker Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven-Erik Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frans Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Engström having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Hjeltman was the one to do the kick off. Melker Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Albohm in the 53rd minute of play. Västerhaninge IF's Tony Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tony Hellsing struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Melker Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerhaninge IF. Tony Hellsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frans Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Engström having to interfere. The supporters of Västerhaninge IF booed when Prässebo FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Prässebo FK's Robin Hjeltman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Erik Albohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Despite being the better team, Västerhaninge IF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
