Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leo Sikström kicked off to start the match. Albin Mickelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Sikström in the 7th minute of the match. If Jörn Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Wiklund came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Fårösund IK's Greger Lund. But to his dismay, Greger Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fårösund IK's Albin Mickelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Sikström in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Sandared booed when Fårösund IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Lilja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Mickelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Sikström in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Henry Granberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albin Mickelsson was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Berglund in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Wiklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albin Mickelsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Egon Larsfelt. After a defensive mix-up in Fårösund IK's zone, Henry Granberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albin Mickelsson came out of the goal and Henry Granberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Granberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Albin Mickelsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Leo Sikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandared's Leo Sikström in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårösund IK's goalie prevented a goal. Fårösund IK's Albin Mickelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fårösund IK from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Greger Lund to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Leo Sikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albin Mickelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Henry Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jerry Godholm fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fårösund IK's protests and gave Jerry Godholm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Leo Sikström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fårösund IK's Albin Mickelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Henry Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albin Mickelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Sikström in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albin Mickelsson saved Fårösund IK from getting behind. Georg Lilja charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georg Lilja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Georg Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Sikström in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albin Mickelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Henry Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandared's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Granberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Mickelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albin Mickelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Böcklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henry Granberg came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sandared fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Granberg couldn't finish the play. Albin Mickelsson came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandared's Leo Sikström. But to his dismay, Leo Sikström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
