Spectators: 6956 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrik Hammarbäck started the match with the kick off. Rutger Pååk made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Isaac Ingemarsson sent off a good shot on target. Hofors's Björn Forssberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Hammarbäck in the 13th minute of play. When Isaac Ingemarsson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hofors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Ingemarsson couldn't finish the play. Sigvard Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rutger Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Ingemarsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Rutger Pååk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Bergman in the 24th minute of play forced Bryngans Hetsporrar's goalkeeper Rutger Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Ingemarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Pååk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Ingemarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sigvard Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hofors's Isaac Ingemarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patrik Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Hofors's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Hammarbäck came free, but Björn Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rutger Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutger Pååk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sigvard Bergman to strike the kick off in the second half. Sigvard Bergman took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rutger Pååk. Rutger Pååk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Hofors's goalkeeper Björn Forssberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Lindström. Björn Forssberg made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Henrik Lindström sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Hofors's Björn Forssberg got control of the ball when Henrik Lindström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Björn Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Hammarbäck in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Bryngans Hetsporrar getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Billy Odén hit a great ball. Bengt-Arne Åström hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bryngans Hetsporrar's Aron Johansson tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Isaac Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rutger Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Forssberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
