Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5007, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Hästveda's Greger Bergström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wictor Viklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Lennartsson in the 3rd minute of play. Älta IK's Sven-Erik Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Bergström in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Vidman in the 10th minute of play forced Hästveda's goalkeeper Wictor Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wictor Viklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Lennartsson in the 20th minute of play. Viktor Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hästveda's Wictor Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Vidman in the 22nd minute of play. Wictor Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Viklund having to interfere. In the 34th minute Gunnar Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wictor Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Vidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Erik Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Sjögren in the 39th minute of play. Richard Lindberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Edmund Aleberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Wictor Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Greger Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Kristiansson came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Hästveda's Greger Bergström. But to his dismay, Greger Bergström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Greger Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Kristiansson having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Oliver Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Sven-Oskar Gummeson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Kristiansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sven-Erik Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Aleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Älta IK's Herman Lagerberg got a free kick in the 70th minute. Edmund Aleberg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Sven-Erik Kristiansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hästveda. In the 72nd minute Michael Boström collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Lindberg during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Lindberg hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Älta IK's Wictor Viklund threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marko Vidman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Älta IK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
