The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Stenman got free with Bo Odman in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 played minutes Vartofta FF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Ivarsson. If Tobias Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Vartofta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Eklund came free, but Christoffer Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Stenman got free with Bo Odman in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Stenkullen's Jens Lustig got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Leo Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Olof Stenman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Bo Odman made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Martinsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leo Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Odman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Stenman in the 55th minute of play forced Stenkullen's goalkeeper Bo Odman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Per-Olof Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Stenkullen got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Linquist. 73 minutes into the match, Stenkullen's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Martinsson came free, but Bo Odman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vartofta FF. Christoffer Falk made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tobias Eklund sent off a good shot on target.
