Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leif Hedin kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Börje Alegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Turfens United's Roger Deckberg tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Leif Hedin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Turfens United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Hedin couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Ingvar Jansson lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Osvald Gustafsson. Timmy Sundströms short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Osvald Gustafsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Timmy Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Hedin struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gert Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turfens United. Osvald Gustafsson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikmanshyttan IF's Timmy Sundström. But to his dismay, Timmy Sundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Turfens United's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Sundström came free, but Osvald Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Turfens United got a freekick which was hit by Roger Deckberg. Ingvar Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute Leif Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Hedin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Robin Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Sundström in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvald Gustafsson saved Turfens United from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Ingvar Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Carlsson in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Turfens United's zone, Timmy Sundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvald Gustafsson came out of the goal and Timmy Sundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvald Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markus Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Turfens United booed when Vikmanshyttan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Carlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Turfens United booed when Vikmanshyttan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Bruhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvald Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Billström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turfens United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
