Rickard Söderman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes, Kvibille IF's Karl-Erik Henriksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rickard Söderman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kvibille IF reached it. Peder Pihlberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kjell Kristiansson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Lövkvist. Kvibille IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ian Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Hammarby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Lindberg couldn't finish the play. Dennis Lövkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Törnkvist in the 20th minute of play. Sven-Åke Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gösta Hjortsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Söderman having to make a save. Kvibille IF's Dennis Lövkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Törnkvist in the 26th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Skarkman was the one to do the kick off. Patrick Wallman charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Wallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kvibille IF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patrick Wallman hit a great ball. Kjell Kristiansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ian Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Timmy Törnkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammarby IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 69th minute Timmy Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Lövkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albert Strömqvist fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammarby IF's protests and gave Albert Strömqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kvibille IF booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Strömqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.
