The supporters of FC Bosna booed when Magmusklerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Falkrans didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Bosna's Stig-Arne Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kent Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Myr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Magmusklerna's Tor Bergdal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent Dahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fritz Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Magmusklerna's Tor Bergdal in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bosna's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Magmusklerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Bergdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Bosna's Kent Dahlbom got control of the ball when Jimmie Christoffersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC Bosna players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
