An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Bolin in the 4th minute of play forced Östavall's goalkeeper Josef Dahlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Hök during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Östavall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Groth to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Bolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Josef Dahlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roger Wickander came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Östavall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Wickander couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Hedling during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Hedling was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 38th play minute Peder Nordgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josef Dahlman. 2-0. If Roger Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Kennet Vennerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Wickander in the 56th minute. Ralf Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Huskvarna got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Bolin. After having played for 59 minutes, Roger Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östavall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Wickander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Wållander hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Östavall's Josef Dahlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Nordgren in the 65th minute of play. Kennet Vennerström was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Roger Wickander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roger Wickander really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Josef Dahlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Nordgren's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Karl-Magnus Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Peder Nordgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Huskvarna's Karl-Magnus Vestberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Dahlman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörn Öfverman during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Huskvarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Öfverman to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Mark Holmberg in the 90th minute of play was well struck, but Kennet Vennerström made a really good save at the right post. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
