Jens-Erik Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jens-Erik Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Sharmotinho's Leif Petersson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Torbjörn Wik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catalunya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ernst Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Jansson having to interfere. Ernst Håkansson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jens-Erik Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sharmotinho. Jens-Erik Jansson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Fredrik Göransson sent off a good shot on target. After 46 played minutes, Sharmotinho's Andreas Bryngelsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Erik Jansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sharmotinho reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernst Håkansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ernst Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd match minute, Catalunya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Victor Kilstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Catalunya's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Håkansson came free, but Jens-Erik Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catalunya's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Jansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Torbjörn Wik could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Aleksander Salqvist however easily saved by the left post. In the 63rd minute, Torbjörn Wik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Salqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Hagström in the 68th minute of play forced Sharmotinho's goalkeeper Aleksander Salqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, one of Sharmotinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sharmotinho. Aleksander Salqvist had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Johan Unesson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Georg Engström took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Erik Jansson. Jens-Erik Jansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Jens-Erik Jansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvald Björkqvist's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Osvald Björkqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Catalunya's zone, Ernst Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Erik Jansson came out of the goal and Ernst Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georg Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jens-Erik Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sharmotinho's Georg Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aleksander Salqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Hagström in the 92nd minute of play. Jens-Erik Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Catalunya defense, Leif Petersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Erik Jansson. The Catalunya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Erik Jansson should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sharmotinho fully deserved thier win.
