Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Oskar Hagström in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ola Beckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jens-Erik Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Lindmark in the 58th minute of play. Ture Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Jansson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Tinglöf during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gunnebo RK's Ola Beckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnebo RK from getting a goal against them. Catalunya's Karl-Oskar Hagström got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolf Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Torbjörn Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ola Beckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Hagström in the 90th minute of the match. Torbjörn Wik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Ola Beckström when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
