Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oliver Ekelund started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Tidaholm IK's goal looked a bit too open when Magne Beneth came free, but Gustaf Landin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CP IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pontus Stål 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Oliver Ekelund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaf Landin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Magne Beneth made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Landin. Tidaholm IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gustaf Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Ekelund in the 27th minute of the match. Magne Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Landin having to interfere. Gustaf Landin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Ekelund went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Henric Wassenius made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Landin. Tidaholm IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Gustaf Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Oliver Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tidaholm IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CP IF were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Pontus Stål made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Henric Wassenius notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Tidaholm IK's Gustaf Landin. Gustaf Landin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kenneth Snäll made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Magne Beneth immediately put the ball in play. Gustaf Landin came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by CP IF's Oliver Ekelund. But to his dismay, Oliver Ekelund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. When Oliver Ekelund fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CP IF's protests and gave Oliver Ekelund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, CP IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. When Henric Wassenius came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the CP IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henric Wassenius couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tidaholm IK booed when CP IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaf Landin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Ekelund in the 90th minute of play. Gustaf Landin was a little too slow when Oliver Ekelund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-8. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CP IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
