Klitor IS's Ian Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Vallmark in the 6th minute of play. When Jörgen Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Klitor IS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Mattsson couldn't finish the play. If Jörgen Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Sten Lövskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Pihlwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Mattsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Alexander Pihlwall made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Klövedal BK's zone, Sten Lövskog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Pihlwall came out of the goal and Sten Lövskog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Klitor IS's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Hydén came free, but Ian Petersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Klitor IS's Jörgen Mattsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Pihlwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klövedal BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Sten Lövskog scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Pihlwall, making the score, 1-0. After 29 played minutes Klövedal BK got a freekick which was hit by Eric Carlsson. After some careless play in the Klövedal BK defense, Jörgen Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Pihlwall. The Klövedal BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Pihlwall should have stopped the shot. After 38 played minutes Klitor IS got a freekick which was hit by Hans Vester. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Vallmark in the 39th minute of play forced Klitor IS's goalkeeper Ian Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Klitor IS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Carl Svensson hit a great ball. Ian Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Wennerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Lövskog made a kick off. Sten Lövskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Klövedal BK's Malcolm Unesson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ian Petersson. Klitor IS's Ian Petersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Klitor IS from getting a goal against them. Ian Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Vallmark in the 78th minute of the match. Klövedal BK's Alexander Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Lövskog in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Olov Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Pihlwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Magnus Vallmark struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ian Petersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klövedal BK. Ian Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Vallmark in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Carlsson got free with Ian Petersson in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sten Lövskog might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Pihlwall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Lövskog ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Ström in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Pihlwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Klitor IS had won after a very even match.
