Marc Bredberg charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sven Rosendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Bållström in the 35th minute of play. Fabian Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sven Rosendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernt Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Tommy Brander came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Själevads IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Brander couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Fabian Göransson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven Rosendal. The goal made the score 0-1. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tjackmatt IF were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Själevads IK side.
