After a defensive mix-up in Persson Persson FF's zone, John Tomasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Blixt came out of the goal and John Tomasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Persson Persson FF's Emil Åkesson got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match, Johannes Dalström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bo Blixt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th minute Sören Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Bållström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Elof Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hestra's Elof Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Bållström in the 25th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Åke Karlsson to make the kick off. Johannes Dalström might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo Blixt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Hestra's Felix Forsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Blixt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. There was no doubt that Hestra were the better team. Hestra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
