Kjell Svartengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jerry Kullgren made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Claesborgs BK's zone, Kjell Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Kullgren came out of the goal and Kjell Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell Svartengren made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Kjell Svartengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claesborgs BK's Jerry Kullgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jens-Erik Björkkvist's late challenge caught a Forssjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Erik Björkkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Jens-Erik Björkkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Kjell Svartengren sped through Claesborgs BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerry Kullgren. During the 90th minute of the match Richard Persson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Richard Persson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Kjell Svartengren shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 98th minute Kjell Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Kullgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Forssjö fully deserved thier win.
