After some careless play in the Eightball IF defense, Sebastian Häll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesper Hagström. The Eightball IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Hagström should have stopped the shot. Daniel Höijer charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Höijer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Bredared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Höijer to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Eightball IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Häll came free, but Jesper Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelle Josefsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Erik Kilstedt in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Robin Askberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesper Hagström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute Daniel Höijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Nils-Erik Kilstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eightball IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Kilstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bredared booed when Eightball IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Häll in the 29th minute of play forced Eightball IF's goalkeeper Jesper Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesper Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Askberg in the 30th minute of play. Jesper Hagström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Häll went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Sebastian Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jesper Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Robin Askberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eightball IF's Jesper Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Erik Kilstedt to make the kick off. Pelle Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Häll got free with Jesper Hagström in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesper Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Höijer in the 57th minute of the match. Sebastian Häll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jesper Hagström made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bredared's Marcus Kruse got a free kick in the 61st minute. Daniel Höijer was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th match minute, Bredared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Höijer to maneuver through the defense. Jesper Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Askberg in the 92nd minute of the match. Bredared's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
