The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kent Häger kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Robert Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Henriksson having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Egil Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Arenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Henriksson having to interfere. Sten Walroth charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sten Walroth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sten Walroth hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Kent Häger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Hallabro's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Häger came free, but Simon Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Hallabro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Ove Alin, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egil Berg to make the kick off. Lindevalls FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Häger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Kent Häger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Henriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Egil Berg struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Lucas Runeberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallabro. 80 minutes into the game, Robert Löfgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Simon Henriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 84 minutes, Kent Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindevalls FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Häger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Löfgren in the 89th minute of the match. Lindevalls FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
