In the 19th match minute, Imperial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Alberg to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Alebäck hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Salqvist in the 24th minute of play forced Ringarum FK's goalkeeper Sigvard Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Hedlund's late challenge caught a Imperial FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Hedlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Ringarum FK got a freekick which was hit by Richard Hedlund. Ringarum FK's Sigvard Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Brenner in the 26th minute of play. If Jack Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Dahlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Frank Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match Per Salkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigvard Bergström skillfully saved the ball. If Arvid Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Salqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Roy Haegg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ringarum FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imperial FC the free kick. Roy Haegg kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Richard Hedlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Imperial FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Frank Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 69 played minutes Imperial FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Dahlberg. Ringarum FK's Fredrik Dahlman got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erland Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Brenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sigvard Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvid Brenner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sigvard Bergström made a huge save.
