Elliot Hellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvid Brenner came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulf Ekenberg could save by the left post. In the 21st minute, Elliot Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Ekenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arvid Brenner in the 24th minute. Elliot Hellkvist's late challenge caught a Imperial FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Hellkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Elliot Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Emil Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Bahamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Flinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Albom, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Frank Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Flinck in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Flinck in the 44th minute of play forced Imperial FC's goalkeeper Frank Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elliot Hellkvist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. Elliot Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. BK Bahamas's Ulf Ekenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save BK Bahamas from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Östen Albom made a kick off. Imperial FC's Arvid Brenner got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Albom got free with Frank Forsberg in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Alebäck hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Valdemar Salqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute.
