The referee gave Festis a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isac Rolfsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Halfvéns FF's Josef Jönsson. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Festis's Josef Jönsson threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kim Johnsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andy Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Qvarnström in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Valdemar Kuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Festis and the Halfvéns FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Festis got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Kuse. After having played for 31 minutes, Bror Qvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halfvéns FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Qvarnström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Jimmie Ahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Kvarnström during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Jimmie Ahlgren notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Festis's Andy Lund. Andy Lund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 57 minutes, Henry Gadd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Festis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Gadd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Festis's Henry Gadd got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Lund made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Bror Qvarnström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Johnsson in the 70th minute of play forced Halfvéns FF's goalkeeper Josef Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Festis's Kim Johnsson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josef Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Halfvéns FF booed when Festis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Njurenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bror Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Bror Qvarnström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Lund was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Bror Qvarnström struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Andy Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halfvéns FF. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Festis's goalkeeper Andy Lund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Halfvéns FF's Nils-Åke Gallin made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andy Lund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kenneth Kuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Festis's goalkeeper Andy Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenneth Kuse. Bror Qvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Lund having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Halfvéns FF got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Ahlgren. Halfvéns FF's Josef Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Gadd in the 96th minute of play. Festis succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Halfvéns FF had controlled the match.
