Egon Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egon Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Jakobsson in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Stillingsön IFK got a corner. Arholma IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Örtendahl ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Jakobsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egon Ambjörnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Peter Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Ambjörnsson having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stillingsön IFK's goalkeeper Alvin Wahlström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvin Wahlström came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Arholma IFK's Kevin Billing. But to his dismay, Kevin Billing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Peter Jakobsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Stillingsön IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 30 minutes, Ingmar Nyström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arholma IFK and the Stillingsön IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, one of Arholma IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arholma IFK. 35 minutes into the match, Stillingsön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Yngve Hansson came free, but Alvin Wahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Arholma IFK defense, Kjell Lindström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egon Ambjörnsson. The Arholma IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Ambjörnsson should have stopped the shot. Kjell Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Kevin Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Åke Sörman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alvin Wahlström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Jan-Åke Sörman made a precise shot to the right of Alvin Wahlström. Stillingsön IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Arholma IFK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ingmar Nyström hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Stillingsön IFK got a corner. Arholma IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Örtendahl ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Peter Jakobsson got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-2. 72 minutes into the match. Jan-Åke Sörman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alvin Wahlström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hans Rosin came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Stillingsön IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Rosin couldn't finish the play. Arholma IFK's Yngve Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yngve Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Wahlström having to interfere. Arholma IFK played a much better game than Stillingsön IFK and deserved their victory. The Stillingsön IFK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
