In the 2nd match minute, Skyttorp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Linghem RK's zone, Claes Forsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Lägdin came out of the goal and Claes Forsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Möller got free with Mikael Alin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isak Wahlström hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Skyttorp FF booed when Linghem RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Möller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Mikael Alin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Leif Lekberg fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linghem RK's protests and gave Leif Lekberg a yellow card for diving instead. Leif Lekberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Skyttorp FF's Marko Brolin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Claes Forsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roy Lägdin having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Skyttorp FF's zone, Jimmie Glad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Alin came out of the goal and Jimmie Glad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Lekberg was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Claes Forsberg took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Lägdin. Roy Lägdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Linghem RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skyttorp FF were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lukas Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linghem RK's goalkeeper Roy Lägdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Alfons Gråberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Jonasson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Lägdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roy Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Jonasson in the 64th minute of play. Alfons Gråberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Alin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Claes Forsberg took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Lägdin. Roy Lägdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Boris Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Alin having to interfere. Linghem RK's Roy Lägdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Jonasson in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Lukas Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skyttorp FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Lägdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukas Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Lägdin having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Linghem RK's goalkeeper Roy Lägdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Forsberg. Lukas Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Linghem RK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Skyttorp FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Skyttorp FF.
